Revellers Steelband, founded in 2009, is a group of performers from Luton. Once a set of pan enthusiasts playing for the love, Revellers are now a credible steelband performing for clients all over the country. Their repertoire ranges from chart toppers to caribbean classics, catering to all ages and cultures.

The band also run workshops and community projects to promote pan music and culture. Currently, funded by grants and paid events, they are actively seeking new partnerships and collaborations to bring our music to fresh audiences.

Revellers have been running  8-week workshops for the community for two years and have successfully promoted steelpan and Caribbean culture in a number of different arenas. The band are excited about working with community and using the arts to break down barriers and enhance people’s lives. It’s fun, it’s challenging and it’s rewarding, as all members leave with an award after completing a final group performance for their family and friends.

All workshops and weekly rehearsals take place at the UKCCA, 3 St Mary’s Road, Luton, LU1 3JA and are led by Ian Beckles. If you would like to join the list for the next set of workshops you can fill out this form and we’ll notify you when registrations are open.
